Hey! I'm Stevie, and this is my wife B. We are at our San Diego surf shop, ready to answer any of your questions. The name "Ho Stevie!" comes from a kind of Hawaiian slang, where my buddy would always come over and say "Ho Stevie, let's go surf!"

Our first product was a mouth mount for GoPro cameras, so surfers could capture their POV while keeping their hands free for surfing. Our team member Shane has had some sketchy experiences getting his leash snagged on rock/reef, so we put a quick-release tab on ours, just in case. The stainless steel double-swivel system prevents your leash from tangling, so you won't even know it's there. The triple-wrapped rail saver protects the tail of your longboard during heavy wipeouts, so your leash string doesn't cut through the tail.

The padded cuff has an anti-slip silicone lining to keep the cuff in place, so the leash doesn't get tangled in your feet when you're walking back and forth on your longboard. We recommend using a leash as long as your board (or longer) if you plan on noseriding. Our regular surf leashes are great, but since they attach to your ankle, this can be an issue when "walking" around on your longboard. This longboard leash attaches to your calf, to raise the cord up and out of the way.
